Join us on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM for the Third Annual Spooky Village, a free, family-friendly Halloween celebration in Richmond Hill’s Historic Village.

Get the costumes ready and bring your little ghosts, goblins, superheroes and princesses for an afternoon of trick-or-treating, music, dancing and Halloween fun while exploring local businesses along Yonge Street.

Start Your Spooky Village Adventure

Registration & Starting Point:
Flex Space Inc. – 10225 Yonge Street, Unit R (rear building)

All families will begin at Flex Space, where children can sign in, pick up their official treat bag and trail card, and get ready to follow the Spooky Village trick-or-treat route.

Participating businesses throughout the Historic Village will be welcoming children with nut-free Halloween treats as families make their way along the route.

Restrooms, first aid, and event support will also be available at the starting and ending points.

Trick-or-Treat Through the Historic Village

From 1:00 PM, families can explore the official Spooky Village route and visit participating local businesses throughout downtown Richmond Hill.

It’s a fun way for children to enjoy Halloween while families discover the shops, restaurants and services that make the Historic Village such a special part of Richmond Hill.

The Fun Continues at the RHCPA Courtyard

Beginning at 3:00 PM, head to the courtyard at the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts for even more free Halloween fun.

Enjoy:

• Halloween Dance Party starting at 3:00 PM
• Free face painting starting at 3:00 PM
• Free glitter tattoos starting at 3:00 PM
• Costume Parade starting at 3:30 PM
• Music, dancing, and family-friendly Halloween fun

Children are encouraged to show off their costumes and join the parade as we celebrate another Spooky Village together.

Help Us Make Sure There’s Enough Candy for Everyone

Spooky Village is completely free, but registration is strongly encouraged.

Registration helps us estimate how many children will be attending so we can provide our participating businesses with enough candy for every child along the trick-or-treat route.

Walk-ins are welcome, but registering in advance helps us make the experience better for everyone.

Support Local While You Celebrate

Spooky Village is presented by the Village of Richmond Hill Business Improvement Area and brings families, local businesses and the community together for a fun and welcoming Halloween celebration in the heart of Richmond Hill.

While you’re exploring the route, take a moment to discover the businesses that call the Historic Village home. Your visit helps support the local shops, restaurants, and services that make our neighbourhood unique.
