Digital Service Squad Grant Program 2020

Dear Downtown Richmond Hill Business Owners:

Did you know that you have access to progressive technological tools, which can help advance your business online and assist you with transitioning your business to a virtual platform?

The Digital Service Squad Program is funded by FedDev Ontario and the Province of Ontario in partnership with OBIAA.
The funding is focused on creating Service Squads that provide one-on-one assistance to main street business owners.
This program was created to assist Main Street businesses with their adoption of technology.

The program includes a grant to help organizations hire service squad members.
Digital Main Street also assists with the training of the Squad members and provides advisory support.

The Service Squad providers are hired to help main street businesses with their social media, website creation, data analytics, etc. They can also provide services such as 360 photos and creating a business owner “Google My business account”.
A full list of services is provided in the Digital Service Squad FAQ.

The amount of funding each organization receives is calculated by the number of businesses they plan to serve.
A small portion of funding can be allocated towards equipment and operational costs, however please see the Digital Main Street page for specifics.

For more information on the program, you can visit the main Digital Main Street Service Squad page.
